I can't sign in / find my page
“It says the page doesn’t exist”
You’re probably typing the slug wrong or visiting a different URL.
- Slugs are written in lowercase, but capitals work too —
/Smithsand/smithsboth find the same family. - Slugs are one word with maybe hyphens. No spaces, no periods.
- The full URL is
ts.onsnowlive.com/<slug>. Notts.onsnowlive.com/family/<slug>.
If you can’t remember the slug:
- The invite link doesn’t contain the slug — the slug is the name your family chose when claiming the page. Ask whoever set it up, or a coach can look it up for you.
- Go to
ts.onsnowlive.com/meand type the slug into the picker form. - Ask your coach. They can look it up in the admin panel.
”I don’t know my family slug”
Three ways:
- Invite email — the link your coach sent you in the first invite.
- Coach — text or message them; they have it.
- The /me picker —
ts.onsnowlive.com/meshows a form where you can try entering it.
”My phone keeps showing me the login screen for /coach”
That’s the coach sign-in page, for coaches and admins only. You don’t need an account to view your family page — just go to the family URL directly.
If you’re a parent who’s also a coach, you want both:
ts.onsnowlive.com/<your-slug>for your family page (no sign-in).ts.onsnowlive.com/coachfor the coach tool (magic-link email).
”Add to Home Screen on my iPhone didn’t work”
You must use Safari (not Chrome) on iPhone. Chrome iOS’s “Add to Home Screen” creates a Chrome shortcut, not a real PWA.
See Add to home screen for the full walk-through.
”I added to home screen and now the icon takes me to the login page”
You may have visited /coach (the coach app) by accident when you
added it. To fix:
- Long-press the icon → Remove App.
- Open
ts.onsnowlive.com/<your-slug>in Safari again. - Share → Add to Home Screen.
”I get notifications for events that aren’t my kid’s”
Almost certainly not — the system filters by athlete group membership. Double-check the event in question:
- Is your kid in the event’s group? (Tap the event card; look at the athlete pills below.)
- The notification might be for an event that has multiple groups attached, one of which your kid is in.
- Categories (Academy, Part-time and so on) do not hide events. If a session is aimed at a different group, you’ll still see the card — with a note saying who it’s for. See Who a session is for.
If you’re sure you’re getting irrelevant notifications, ping your coach and we can audit the family/group relationships.
Still stuck
