How sharing and access work
Team Summit Calendar has no passwords for families. Your family page
lives at an address like ts.onsnowlive.com/smiths, and that address is
the key: anyone who has it can open the page, see your athletes’ sessions,
and RSVP for them.
That is deliberate. A ski family is more than two parents — grandparents drive to races, a carpool parent needs to know if practice moved, a babysitter needs the pickup time. Accounts and passwords for every one of them would mean nobody uses it. One address the household shares means everyone who helps with your athlete can help.
What this means in practice
- Share the address with your household — the people who help get your athlete to the mountain. Text it, put it on the fridge, add it to everyone’s home screen.
- Don’t post it publicly. It is a key, not a website. Treat it like the garage code.
- Each phone says who it is. The first time a phone opens the page it asks “Who’s using this phone?” — Mom, Dad, Grandma. That name goes next to what that phone does, so a coach sees Mom · yes on the roster. It is the honor system, and it is saved on that phone only.
- If the address gets out, ask a coach. They issue a new one and the old one stops working immediately. Nothing else changes.

What coaches can and cannot see
Coaches see your athletes’ names, your family name, your RSVP answers and who gave them, and any quick messages you send. They do not see your page address, and they cannot sign in as you. Coaches who are also parents get a link between their two views — it grants navigation convenience only, never extra permission.
What the system keeps
Contact emails and phone numbers you give the club, your RSVPs, and your notification choices. Nothing is sold or shared; the only services involved are Cloudflare (hosting) and Telegram (if you join a channel). See What data we keep for the full inventory.
The one-line version
One shared address per family, no passwords, per-phone names, a coach can reissue it in a minute. Simple enough that the whole athlete support system — parents, grandparents, carpool — actually uses it.
Sharing the address
